LimaBook

Privacy policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LimaBook handles information when you use our website, products, support services, customer portal, and optional integrations, including the LimaBook Google Business Profile reviews integration.

Information we collect and access

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, business details, support requests, and account information. If you connect a Google Business Profile, LimaBook receives OAuth authorization and may access the Google account and Business Profile data needed to provide the feature, including managed account identifiers, location resource names, business names and addresses, reviews, ratings, reviewer display information, review timestamps, and existing review replies. LimaBook does not receive or store your Google password.

How we use Google and other information

We use information to provide and secure LimaBook, respond to enquiries, deliver support and product updates, and improve our services. Google Business Profile data is used only to let an authorized business select a location, synchronize and display its reviews in LimaBook, identify reviews that already have replies, and publish replies the authorized user chooses to send. We do not use Google user data for advertising, sell it, or use it for purposes unrelated to the features the user requested. LimaBook’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage, security and retention

Reservation and customer data entered through LimaBook plugins is normally stored on the customer’s own WordPress site. For the Google Business Profile integration, LimaBook’s central service stores the minimum connection details needed to operate the integration, including encrypted OAuth access and refresh tokens, the selected account and location identifiers, and synchronization status. Review data may also be stored on the connected WordPress site so the business can view and manage reviews. We use access controls, encryption in transit, and appropriate technical safeguards. We retain Google connection data only while the integration is connected or as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service.

Cookies and service logs

This website uses cookies and similar technologies needed for site, account, security, and checkout functions. Our services may also retain limited technical logs, such as timestamps, request status, site identity, and error information, to secure and troubleshoot integrations. We do not intentionally place Google review text or OAuth tokens in routine application logs.

Service providers and disclosure

We share information only when needed to provide the service, comply with law, protect rights and security, or with your direction or consent. The Google Business Profile integration sends requests to Google APIs to retrieve the connected business data and publish review replies. We may use carefully selected hosting, database, backup, security, payment, and email providers that process only the information needed to perform their services for us. We do not sell Google user data or disclose it to third parties for advertising.

Your choices, access and deletion

You can disconnect Google Business Profile from LimaBook at any time. You can also revoke LimaBook’s Google access from your Google Account permissions. Disconnecting stops future synchronization and reply actions. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information and stored Google connection data through our contact page. Some limited records may be retained where required by law, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate dispute-resolution needs.
